How do I request an article that the library doesn't own?

Answer

You can use Document Delivery Services (DDS) to request materials the library does not own.  If you are in a library database and see something that is not immediately available you can use the FIND IT button to check for other electronic holdings and to place a DDS request.  You will be prompted to enter your university login and then the form will auto-fill. Be sure all the required fields are correct, then hit the submit button.  A video demo is available.

The library will then ask for a copy from another library.  You will be notified when the item is ready for you via your university email account.
