Why is the first page blank on some of the library articles (e.g., qualitative sociology)?
It only happens on some journals and not on others. is this a subscription issue? I am using Google Chrome.

Some browsers such as Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and Apple's Safari use an internal PDF viewer that is not compatible with all files.
You can disable Chrome's PDF viewer by going to chrome://plugins/ -- Firefox's PDF browser can also be turned off.
If you use Internet Explorer, it automatically displays PDFs in the full Adobe Acrobat PDF viewer.
